adidas Adizero Dropset Pro Training
The brand adidas Performance built the Adizero line around speed, and with the adidas Adizero Dropset Pro Training, it transitions from the track to the gym. These women's training sneakers are designed for hybrid training, where running segments alternate with station work. Looking for a pair that won’t hold you back on the treadmill while keeping you grounded during weightlifting? You don’t have to choose. The striking combination of Solar Lemon/Frozen Turbo/Hi-res Yellow shows you’re all in for your training.
The midsole features lightweight foam LIGHTSTRIKE PRO with ENERGYRODS. The foam absorbs impact and returns energy, while the rods stabilize the shoe and help you push off faster when you sprint after a set of exercises. The LightTraxion outsole with Continental™ rubber grips the gym floor and asphalt, so you don’t have to worry about slipping during lunges or when taking off for a sprint. The upper made of synthetic materials and textiles keeps your foot secure during lateral movements without adding unnecessary weight. The low cut allows freedom of movement at the ankle, which you’ll appreciate during squats and jumps. Behind adidas is Adi Dassler and the German town of Herzogenaurach, with the adidas Performance line focusing on performance gear for athletes of all levels.
adidas Dropset
Stability for heavyweights, power DNA, and a technological manifesto of modern training - adidas Dropset
The adidas Dropset model line is our uncompromising answer to the needs of the community that loves intense strength training, cross-fit, and functional fitness. Forget about soft running shoes that won't support you when lifting weights. The adidas Dropset was designed from the ground up in close collaboration with top athletes, with a single goal – to provide your foot with absolute stability, unwavering contact with the ground, and safety during the toughest sets. This model masterfully translates raw functionality from the gym directly into the context of modern urban tech-wear.
Stability Engineering: Dual-Density Midsole
What makes the adidas Dropset a mechanical gem for anyone serious about lifting weights is the innovative sole construction with dual-density. While you'll find a firmer, stiffer EVA foam blend under the heel that won't compress under the weight of a loaded barbell, ensuring perfect power transfer from the ground to your body, the forefoot features a slightly softer and more flexible foam. This allows for dynamic movement, lunges, or burpees without uncomfortable restrictions.
Another key element is the zero or minimal drop (the slope between heel and toe – just 6 mm), which simulates the feeling of training barefoot. This provides your foot with natural support, giving you maximum balance whether you're squatting your max or maintaining stability during deadlifts.
Breathability, Lateral Support, and Sustainable Approach
The shoe's construction is ready for extreme loads and the hot environments of gyms and summer city streets:
- Upper with HEAT.RDY technology: Highly breathable technical mesh wicks heat and moisture away from your foot, keeping it dry even during the most intense workouts.
- TPU lateral stabilizers (Sidewall wrap): Reinforced panels on the sides of the shoe securely lock your foot in place, preventing lateral movement during sudden direction changes.
- Traxion / Adiwear outsole: Rubber with extreme grip that literally sticks you to the gym floor, weightlifting platform, and urban asphalt.
- Sustainable Future: The shoe's upper contains at least 50% recycled Primegreen yarn, highlighting adidas' commitment to environmental protection.
Styling Tip
With its robust wider shape, sharp lines, and industrial aesthetic, the adidas Dropset fits perfectly into contemporary functional and streetwear outfits. It pairs well with technical compression shorts, oversized workout tees made from heavy cotton, or nylon track pants. Top it off with a training vest or a lightweight windbreaker. Choose your colorway at Footshop and get an unshakeable foundation for every performance.
