What to expect from the shoe?
Hoka® Speedgoat 7 GTX
Put on the women's trail sneakers Hoka® Speedgoat 7 GTX and head out where the asphalt ends and roots, rocks, and muddy paths begin. The GORE-TEX® membrane keeps your feet dry in wet grass and puddles, so you won't skip running off-road or a longer hike because of the weather forecast. In the Pebble Grey/Alabaster colorway, they look understated and clean, making them suitable for wear beyond the trail.
The upper combines synthetic materials and textile with GORE-TEX Invisible Fit technology, which hugs your foot without unnecessary folds. Durable Cordura® protects the sneakers in areas that take the most abuse on the trail. The CMEVA molded EVA foam midsole cushions impacts on long descents, while the Vibram® Megagrip outsole provides reliable traction on wet rocks and loose surfaces. Thanks to the quick-lacing system, you can tighten them in one motion, and reflective elements enhance your visibility in low light. The narrower insole (width B) fits well on slimmer feet. The Speedgoat line is named after ultramarathoner Karl Meltzer and was designed for outdoor use with a focus on confidence in challenging terrain. HOKA® was founded in 2009 in the French Alps and is known for its highly cushioned soles, favored by both runners and hikers today.
Hoka® Speedgoat
Aggressive grip, stability and confidence for the technical trail - Hoka® Speedgoat
The Hoka Speedgoat is one of Hoka's most iconic trail shoes. They're designed for running on tough terrain where you need maximum traction, stability and reliable cushioning for long miles in the mountains. With a distinctive foam layer and Meta-Rocker geometry, they provide a smooth stride, sure footing and comfort even on longer races or mountain expeditions. The Speedgoat line is known for its aggressiveness and excellent foot hold, which you'll appreciate on technical sections.
The model is available in several versions depending on your running style. The Speedgoat 5 is the latest and most versatile version - lighter than the previous generation, more stable and with a redesigned upper for better breathability. The Speedgoat Mid GTX offers a raised cut and GORE-TEX® membrane for cooler or wet runs. And the Speedgoat GTX with its waterproof design is ideal for rough weather, winter runs and terrain full of mud or snow. All variants have an aggressive outsole with Vibram® Megagrip compound and 5mm grips for confidence even in tough conditions.
They work best on rocks, mud, roots, gravel and mountain trails where their grip and stable platform come into full effect. With normal trail use, you can expect a lifespan of around 600-900 km, depending on the terrain and running style. If you're looking for a shoe that will hold you up on steep climbs, technical descents and variable surfaces, the Hoka Speedgoat is the obvious choice.
