What to expect from the shoe?
Hoka® Speedgoat 7
The Vibram® Megagrip outsole with deep lugs and lightweight foam midsole make the women's trail sneakers Hoka® Speedgoat 7 your reliable companions, ready to tackle roots, wet rocks, and loose gravel. You can focus solely on the trail ahead and how far you’ll run today. In the Black/Electric Aqua colorway, they look fresh and confident, whether you're heading straight from the forest to a café.
The CMEVA (compressed EVA foam) midsole provides moderate cushioning. You still feel the terrain underfoot, but hard impacts on rocks won’t hurt. The synthetic and textile upper keeps your foot securely in place while allowing for breathability. The narrower B width fits a slimmer foot, and the sneakers accommodate both neutral and stable strides. The low cut gives you ankle freedom, making them suitable for your daily training in the outdoors as well as for a faster pace on forest paths. Reflective elements enhance your visibility when you head out in low light. The Speedgoat 7 is named after the nickname of American ultramarathoner Karl Meltzer, who inspired the series. HOKA® was founded in 2009 in the French Alps and is renowned for its distinctive cushioning that has transformed the approach to mountain running.
Hoka® Speedgoat
Aggressive grip, stability and confidence for the technical trail - Hoka® Speedgoat
The Hoka Speedgoat is one of Hoka's most iconic trail shoes. They're designed for running on tough terrain where you need maximum traction, stability and reliable cushioning for long miles in the mountains. With a distinctive foam layer and Meta-Rocker geometry, they provide a smooth stride, sure footing and comfort even on longer races or mountain expeditions. The Speedgoat line is known for its aggressiveness and excellent foot hold, which you'll appreciate on technical sections.
The model is available in several versions depending on your running style. The Speedgoat 5 is the latest and most versatile version - lighter than the previous generation, more stable and with a redesigned upper for better breathability. The Speedgoat Mid GTX offers a raised cut and GORE-TEX® membrane for cooler or wet runs. And the Speedgoat GTX with its waterproof design is ideal for rough weather, winter runs and terrain full of mud or snow. All variants have an aggressive outsole with Vibram® Megagrip compound and 5mm grips for confidence even in tough conditions.
They work best on rocks, mud, roots, gravel and mountain trails where their grip and stable platform come into full effect. With normal trail use, you can expect a lifespan of around 600-900 km, depending on the terrain and running style. If you're looking for a shoe that will hold you up on steep climbs, technical descents and variable surfaces, the Hoka Speedgoat is the obvious choice.
