This women's version combines subtle shades of beige, gold and khaki to create a sleek and versatile look suitable for everyday wear. The premium leather upper provides durability and structure, while the perforated toe provides breathability. The midsole with Nike Air-Sole technology offers lightweight cushioning, and the rubber outsole provides reliable traction on a variety of surfaces. The design is complemented by the iconic Jumpman logo on the tongue and Wings on the ankle, highlighting Jordan's heritage.
The Air Jordan 1 is the shoe that started it all. The red and black sil houette design was designed by Peter Moore in 1984 for Michael Jordan to match the colour combination with the Chicago Bulls jerseys. A year later, the sneakers hit the market and the NBA banned Jordan from wearing them because they weren't white enough. For every game Jordan violated this sports dress code, he was fined $5,000.
Since its launch, the Air Jordan 1 has maintained its status as one of the most popular silhouettes of all time. They have the largest number of colorways and different interpretations. The timeless design and high cut clearly makes them a must-have piece with close ties to basketball history.
Leather: It is a natural material known for its durability, flexibility and ability to adapt to the shape of the foot, ensuring unparalleled comfort and durability.
Air Sole: The legendary cushioning element - a capsule filled with compressed air that changed the world of sneakers.
Rubber: The rubber outsole provides excellent grip and durability on a variety of surfaces. Thanks to its elasticity, it absorbs shock, increasing comfort when walking or running.
In the history of sneakers, there is perhaps no more successful collaboration between a sneaker brand and an athlete than in the case of Michael Jordan and Nike. From the union of these two concepts came a legend in the form of Air Jordan in 1984. These sneakers were initially worn exclusively by the legendary thirty-three, however, within a few months of their introduction, Jordans were also in the hands of the public.
The Air Jordan 1, which Michael first put on more than thirty years ago, is now one of the most popular silhouettes among sneakerheads. But the beginnings weren't exactly easy. In 1985, the most famous basketball player in history was banned from wearing Jordan 1 shoes because they didn't meet the prescribed game dress code, according to the NBA . To make matters worse, he would have to pay a $5,000 fine for every game he wore them.
This, of course, wouldn't be the seasoned Nike, which had a proper respect for its workhorse. Rather than risk the recall of this Jordan sneaker, it was decided that the company would rather cash in any such fine to Michael just so he could wear the J's as they were. The pinnacle of healthy audacity was an ad for just the Air Jordan 1 shoe called "banned." It featured, among other things, the legendary line, "The NBA threw them (Air Jordan 1) out of the game. Unfortunately the NBA can't stop YOU from wearing them".
Time moved on, and as the years passed, so did more Jordan shoes. After the legendary 1s came the 2s, then the 3s, and by 2000 the number of new silhouettes had climbed to 15. Today, there are many more, and more models are still being added. However, even though these are far from being some worthless pieces, the glory of their first retro models is hardly matched by the new Jordan shoes aka Jordans .
Nike Jordan shoes have already entered their fourth decade of existence. Unlike a lot of other brands, Jordan sneakers have never strayed from their pre-marked path, that is to produce basketball sneakers for top athletes. But from the street basketball courts and gym floors, Air Jordan shoes have moved in a big way to the city streets as well. Among other things, the popularity among fashion and sneaker fans is also due to their popularity among the world's music stars, who do not hesitate to wear Jordan sneakers to concerts, fashion events and the most prestigious music awards.
