Carhartt WIP Alec Wallet
With the Carhartt WIP Alec wallet, your cards, ID, and cash are always organized and within reach, whether you're paying at the checkout or digging for a ticket on the tram. The black design with Velcro adds a relaxed streetwear vibe, making it just as natural to carry in your jeans pocket as in your backpack. The brand originated as a European line of the American workwear label Carhartt from Detroit, bringing work durability into urban fashion and skate culture.
The Alec model is made from recycled polyester with a weight of 381 g/m² and a water-repellent finish, so it can handle rain and spilled coffee. The sturdy fabric maintains its shape and withstands frequent opening. The main compartment closes with Velcro, while a smaller zippered pocket is perfect for coins or a key. Inside, the polyester lining features ten pockets for cards, receipts, and bills, making it easy to stay organized. This compact wallet measures 13 × 9 × 2 cm, fitting comfortably in your back pocket or a smaller fanny pack. The look is completed with an embroidered logo and print from Carhartt WIP.

Founded in 1994 by Edwin Faehe, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops custom collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of rugged American archetypes and collaborates with the subcultures that surrounded it. On the other hand, Carhartt WIP also managed to get into new contexts and bring its own classics. From the late 1980s onwards, countercultures around the world adopted the rugged spirit of Carhartt originals workwear and created their own style. With a growing network and a strong base, Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and began to engage in cultural spheres outside its own industry. As a result, the brand established its own skate team and music department, while supporting a number of artists and publishing various publications.
Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with a number of like-minded brands including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike and Vetements, as well as working with music icons such as Fela Kuti, Underground Resistance and Vestax.
