Asics Gel-Quantum 360 I Amp
Weekend morning, coffee to go, and a whole day ahead of you moving through the city. That’s exactly what the men's sneakers Gel-Quantum 360 I Amp from Asics were made for. Once you put them on, you’ll realize there’s more underfoot than just a nice design. The Gel-Quantum 360 features a gel unit visible around the entire heel, providing soft and even cushioning with every step. The gray colorway has a technical yet understated vibe, making it easy to pair with joggers, cargo pants, or jeans.
The upper combines lightweight textile and suede. The textile breathes well, while the suede elements add structure and look great up close. Beneath, the FF BLAST PLUS foam midsole is lightweight and pleasantly returns energy to your stride, complemented by GEL technology that keeps your feet fresh even after hours of walking. The AHARPLUS rubber outsole is abrasion-resistant, ready to handle asphalt, cobblestones, and longer distances. The low cut leaves your ankle free, and the sneakers are easy to slip on. Asics is a Japanese brand from Kobe, founded in 1949 by Kihachiro Onitsuka. Its name comes from the Latin "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," meaning a healthy spirit in a healthy body, and that philosophy is evident in every sole.
Asics Gel-Quantum
Futurism and technology at the heart of urban lifestyle - Asics Gel-Quantum
The Asics Gel-Quantum model line represents the pinnacle of hybrid sneakers, defining a new era of modern dressing. This silhouette masterfully blurs the lines between technical sports engineering and progressive streetwear. It's designed for those who demand uncompromising mechanical cushioning in a dynamic urban environment while expressing their refined taste through bold and innovative design.
Iconic GEL™ technology and Scutoid geometry
The standout feature of the Gel-Quantum line is the visible GEL™ technology, strategically placed around the perimeter of the midsole in flagship models (e.g., the 360 version). The innovative Scutoid geometry of the cushioning material allows for more effective absorption of vertical and horizontal forces encountered during daily movement on hard urban surfaces. This synergy ensures unprecedented shock absorption, significantly enhancing comfort for all-day wear and protecting the musculoskeletal system from fatigue caused by walking on concrete and asphalt.
TRUSSTIC™ stability and premium construction
Despite its lifestyle focus, the shoe does not lack advanced features for foot support. The TRUSSTIC™ system, located in the midsole, provides essential torsional rigidity and prevents unwanted twisting of the shoe. The upper is made from a combination of breathable mesh and synthetic panels with 3D printing, ensuring top-notch breathability while maintaining high mechanical durability. The seamless construction eliminates the risk of blisters, while the futuristic lines give the shoe a unique visual identity that draws attention.
Durable AHAR™ outsole for urban surfaces
Long-lasting performance and reliable traction on both dry and wet surfaces are guaranteed by the outsole made of highly durable AHAR™ rubber. This compound is designed to withstand abrasive urban surfaces, extending both the aesthetic and functional quality of the footwear. Every detail, from the padded collar to the specific lacing system, is designed with the user's maximum comfort in mind, catering to those who are always on the move.
Who wears them? The Asics Gel-Quantum is the primary choice for urban trendsetters, creatives, and active individuals who spend their entire day in motion and refuse to compromise between style and functionality. With its robust construction and stability, this model is also ideal for those seeking a shoe with a distinctive visual character that pairs well with technical materials as well as classic denim. It’s a technological manifesto for anyone looking for maximum innovation in lifestyle footwear.

Japanese precision that redefines modern streetwear - Asics
From Olympic stadiums through Y2K mania to the peak of high-fashion
“A healthy mind in a healthy body.” This is the message hidden in the very name of the brand Asics, which is an acronym of the well-known Latin proverb Anima Sana In Corpore Sano. The story of this Japanese icon began in 1949 in Kobe, where its founder Kihachiro Onitsuka started producing athletic shoes with a vision to uplift the post-war youth through sports and an active lifestyle. The original Asics sneakers were not adorned with the now-iconic letter “a,” but rather the branding of Onitsuka Tiger with its signature crossed stripes, symbolizing the ferocity, strength, and endurance of a tiger. Today, while Onitsuka Tiger operates as a separate premium lifestyle division, the reference to authentic Japanese craftsmanship and technological integrity remains deeply embedded in the DNA of every pair bearing the Asics logo.
From running tracks to the spotlight of streetwear
For many years, the public perceived Asics sneakers solely as top-tier and high-quality running shoes for marathon runners and professional athletes. However, the hidden potential of raw Japanese retro-futuristic design fully emerged with the massive wave of dad shoes and the uncompromising rise of Y2K aesthetics. The streetwear spotlight was first dramatically captured by the impressive and substantial version of the Asics Gel-Kayano 5, which showcased to the world that layered design and technical structure have an unwavering place on the streets.
Not only with this model, but also with the aggressive silhouette of the Asics Gel-Kinsei or the outdoor-oriented Asics Gel-Nandi, the brand made a bold statement in the fashion world. Today, Asics no longer plays in the second league – it sits at the very top of technical streetwear and dictates trends closely followed by the entire sneaker community.
Asics GEL™ cushioning technology: Comfort you need to experience
With the popularization of lifestyle sneaker wearing and the transformation of urban culture, many Asics sports silhouettes have shifted towards footwear for all kinds of leisure activities. Today, many creative souls and sneaker enthusiasts see Asics shoes as a key fashion accessory. This has been achieved primarily through the brilliant fusion of unique Japanese visual identity and absolute comfort, often provided by the revolutionary cushioning technology Asics GEL™.
This involves special gel capsules strategically placed in the midsole, whose extreme effects you’ll notice especially with every hard landing on city asphalt and the subsequent dynamic push-off. The GEL™ technology effectively reduces foot fatigue, so whether you have a full day of tracking through the city, running from meeting to meeting, or dancing the night away at a festival rave, your feet will remain in complete luxury.
Collaborations that rewrote the rules
Asics' relevance within the global streetwear subculture has also been proven by the now-legendary and extremely limited collaboration Asics x Sean Wotherspoon on the silhouette of Asics Gel-Lyte III, which has made an indelible mark in sneaker design history. However, the brand's significant fashion renaissance was primarily sparked by the creative partnership with designer Kiko Kostadinov, whose studio elevated Asics inline models to runway levels.
