Carhartt WIP OG Single Knee Short
Authentic workwear aesthetics that feel relaxed in the city while still keeping their shape: that's the Carhartt WIP OG Single Knee Short in grey. These shorts are inspired by classic work pants Single Knee, bringing their robust character into a shorter length. You can wear them all day without a second thought, and you always look like you’ve carefully curated your outfit.
The shorts are made from heavy-duty cotton denim with a weight of 458 g/m², which holds its shape, lasts long, and gains its own character with each wear. Thanks to the regular fit, they won't get in your way, and the standard hem keeps a clean line. They fasten with a zipper and button. You can stash your phone and keys in the side pockets, your wallet in the back, and coins in the coin pocket. The subtle embroidery and print serve as understated branded details. Pair them with a loose t-shirt, socks pulled above the ankle, and sneakers or work boots. Carhartt WIP was established in 1989 as the European branch of the American workwear manufacturer founded in 1889 in Detroit by Hamilton Carhartt. Today, it connects workwear roots with skateboarding and streetwear.

Founded in 1994 by Edwin Faehe, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops custom collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of rugged American archetypes and collaborates with the subcultures that surrounded it. On the other hand, Carhartt WIP also managed to get into new contexts and bring its own classics. From the late 1980s onwards, countercultures around the world adopted the rugged spirit of Carhartt originals workwear and created their own style. With a growing network and a strong base, Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and began to engage in cultural spheres outside its own industry. As a result, the brand established its own skate team and music department, while supporting a number of artists and publishing various publications.
Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with a number of like-minded brands including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike and Vetements, as well as working with music icons such as Fela Kuti, Underground Resistance and Vestax.
