Dr. Martens 1460
Sturdy black leather, yellow stitching, and a rubber sole. The men's boots Dr. Martens 1460 in Black are instantly recognizable. The leather upper molds to your foot over time, gaining its own character with wear, so the longer you have them, the more they truly become yours. These high leather boots feature eight pairs of eyelets that securely hug your ankle, providing a confident foundation for any outfit.
Underfoot, you have the air-cushioned AirWair rubber sole, which pleasantly absorbs impact on pavement and asphalt. The upper is stitched to the sole using the Goodyear welt technique, ensuring the boots last for years. At the back, you'll find a pull tab that makes them easy to slip on. Wear them in the city with straight jeans, cargo pants, or under a coat. You can even pair them with a suit to add a touch of rebellion to a formal look. The 1460 model is named after its release date, April 1, 1960. Dr. Martens is a British brand from Northamptonshire, where the Griggs family combined traditional shoemaking with the cushioned sole of German doctor Klaus Märtens. Their boots have been favored by punks and musicians alike, and you can find them at Footshop.
Dr. Martens 1460
This is the shoe that defines the brand and the culture around Dr. Martens. The 1460 is tall, leather, with history and emotion. It was originally a humble work shoe, then a symbol of various subcultures, and eventually a prototype shoe you can use to express your attitude - whatever it may be.
The Dr. Martens 1460 shoe has exactly the hallmarks that made the iconic brand, which has been officially in production since 1947, famous. In their original form, they come with black leather, yellow stitching, a large heel loop and a sole with minimal transparency. Bottom line, even after many years, this is still a culturally relevant pair that is adaptable to a variety of fashion styles.

User reviews
A broken foot is no mean feat, let alone in war. Dr. Klaus Maertens, whom we know today, primarily thanks to the brand he later founded, as Dr. Martens, found that out . Indeed, it was Klaus's unpleasant experience to which we owe our honest Martens today. When his designs for safe yet comfortable footwear were noticed by Griggs's footwear company in the heart of England, everything took the right direction and momentum. Today, the Dr. Martensbrand stands for quality, durability and safety, but also comfort, as the leather adapts perfectly to any foot after walking for a while.
Martens as a cult
Since 1947, when Dr. Martens shoes officially came into existence as part of the newly founded brand, the leather shoe has become a cult. The shoes have been adopted by many subcultures, especially those associated with listening to hard music. For example, the high rubber sole, the height and also the mesh toe of the shoe became iconic. It was this gadget, which guaranteed greater strength, that proved fatalto Dr. Martens in several places . In England, the country of their origin, Martens began to function as a quality weapon in street battles. That's why, after bans, they had to disappear from some football stadiums and pubs.
Nowadays, you don't have to worry about bans. At Footshop, you can get iconic modelsfrom Dr. Martens like the 1460, 1461, boots 2976 and other unique pieces for your shoe closet. Plus, in both men's and women's options! So reach for your Dr. Martens and wear the iconic footwear.
