Carhartt WIP OG Active Jacket 50th Anniversary Edition Canvas
Celebrating half a century of the iconic Active Jacket, Carhartt WIP drops a special edition that’s all about legacy and street cred. This reversible piece flips from classic black to bold USA red, nodding to the original 1975 design. Crafted from heavyweight 12 oz Dearborn Canvas made of 100% organic cotton, it’s built to last and age with character.
The jacket rocks an original loose fit, giving you that boxy, oversized vibe that’s perfect for layering. Triple-stitched seams mean it’s tough enough for whatever the streets throw your way. Both sides come equipped with adjustable hoods and kangaroo pockets, blending function with effortless style.
Rib-knit cuffs and bottom band keep things snug, while the 50th Anniversary Square Label adds that exclusive touch. Whether you’re hitting the city or just flexing your fit, this jacket’s got your back.

Founded in 1994 by Edwin Faehe, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops custom collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of rugged American archetypes and collaborates with the subcultures that surrounded it. On the other hand, Carhartt WIP also managed to get into new contexts and bring its own classics. From the late 1980s onwards, countercultures around the world adopted the rugged spirit of Carhartt originals workwear and created their own style. With a growing network and a strong base, Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and began to engage in cultural spheres outside its own industry. As a result, the brand established its own skate team and music department, while supporting a number of artists and publishing various publications.
Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with a number of like-minded brands including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike and Vetements, as well as working with music icons such as Fela Kuti, Underground Resistance and Vestax.
