Carhartt WIP OG Detroit Jacket in Dusty H Brown Chalk Wash
The Carhartt WIP OG Detroit Jacket is a heavyweight piece that brings rugged workwear vibes straight to the streets. Crafted from 12 oz 100% organic cotton Dearborn Canvas, this jacket is built to last. The 'chalk wash' treatment gives it a sun-faded look, adding unique character to each piece.
Designed with an original loose fit, it offers a boxy, slightly oversized silhouette that's perfect for layering. The contrasting corduroy collar adds a touch of classic style, while the two-way front zip and zipped chest pocket provide both function and flair.
Inside, the body is lined with poplin for comfort, and the sleeves feature nylon lining for easy movement. Triple-stitched seams ensure durability, and adjustable cuffs and bottom band let you customize the fit. A woven Square Label on the chest completes the design, staying true to Carhartt's heritage.
Whether you're hitting the city or the job site, this jacket delivers on both style and substance.
Founded in 1994 by Edwin Faehe, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops custom collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of rugged American archetypes and collaborates with the subcultures that surrounded it. On the other hand, Carhartt WIP also managed to get into new contexts and bring its own classics. From the late 1980s onwards, countercultures around the world adopted the rugged spirit of Carhartt originals workwear and created their own style. With a growing network and a strong base, Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and began to engage in cultural spheres outside its own industry. As a result, the brand established its own skate team and music department, while supporting a number of artists and publishing various publications.
Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with a number of like-minded brands including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike and Vetements, as well as working with music icons such as Fela Kuti, Underground Resistance and Vestax.
