These sneakers were initially worn exclusively by the legendary thirty-three, however, within a few months of their introduction, Jordans were also in the hands of the public.

The Air Jordan 1, which Michael first put on more than thirty years ago, is now one of the most popular silhouettes among sneakerheads. But the beginnings weren't exactly easy. In 1985, the most famous basketball player in history was banned from wearing Jordan 1 shoes because they didn't meet the prescribed game dress code, according to the NBA .
