It uses a translucent outer layer that lets in the sun's rays and a dark inner layer that absorbs and holds that heat close to the body. 100% Nylon: This synthetic polymer became the first commercially successful synthetic fibre made directly from coal, water and air. Nylon is characterised by its high strength, abrasion resistance and ability to dry quickly.
