New Era Los Angeles Dodgers New Traditions 9FORTY Adjustable Cap

Your journey from the baseball fields to the streets - New Era 9Forty

You may not have known that the New Era 9Forty represents the perfect symbiosis between professional sports tradition and your everyday needs. While the history of the New Era brand itself dates back to the 1920s, the 9Forty was created as a modern and more comfortable alternative to the iconic 59Fifty. The main goal of the designers was to create a cap that retains the authentic MLB (Major League Baseball) look, but offers a much higher level of comfort and versatility wherever you are in the world.

A design that holds you up

A key feature of your 9Forty is the six-panel crown with a reinforced front that ensures your cap will hold its shape even when worn every day. Unlike the flat visors that ruled the earlier days, the 9Forty came with a pre-curved visor. This gave it a more dynamic silhouette that fits you perfectly the first time you put it on. But the most important historical milestone was the introduction of the adjustable back strap. This made the model the "one size fits most" version , so you no longer have to deal with the complicated issue of measuring the exact circumference of your head - you simply adjust it to the way you need it.

From stadiums to your fashion status

Although 9Forty is still the official cap for legendary teams like the New York Yankees and LA Dodgers, its influence has long since transcended the field. Since the 90s, it has become an integral part of streetwear and your style. Its popularity was cemented by global icons and athletes who began wearing it as a key fashion accessory. Today, the New Era 9Forty is an indispensable staple in your wardrobe, carrying over a century of craftsmanship and a passion for baseball heritage. So, which color will you choose?
